I am Aleksandra Kravchenko, owner of First Wax. With nine years of experience and more than 1,000 clients, I have been offering waxing, Brazilian wax, intimate bleaching and laser hair removal in my own studio in Beesd since 2021. I carry out every treatment myself, calmly, attentively and with honest advice.

From logistics engineer to hair removal specialist
I was born in Kaliningrad, Russia, where I graduated as a logistics engineer. That profession is all about precision and good planning. Yet my heart lay elsewhere. In 2018 I took a training course in sugaring, hair removal with sugar paste, and from the very first day I knew: this is my passion.
So I went for it completely and trained as a beautician in Kaliningrad. There I learned to work with different types of wax, including Lycon, the premium wax I still use today.
In 2019 I moved to the Netherlands for love, and I have been happily married there since 2023. Here I wanted to continue my passion: on 31 December 2020 I registered First Wax with the Chamber of Commerce, and on 3 March 2021 I opened my own studio in Beesd. In mid-2024 I also obtained my laser diploma from Alma Lasers, the manufacturer of the Soprano Titanium. So now I can help you to smooth skin, with waxing for weeks or with laser for the long term.

Where it started: sugaring in 2018
In 2018 I completed the sugaring course in Kaliningrad, with top marks (a 10 out of 10). My teacher wrote about me at the time:
“Very gentle, careful and dedicated, and very talented too. She is just terribly afraid of hurting anyone. Sasha, congratulations on completing the course. I wish you every success, you are wonderful!”

I have never lost that fear of hurting someone. That is why I still work calmly and carefully, so that hair removal is as comfortable as possible for you.

You are always treated by me, by appointment only, in a calm private studio. So there is always time for your questions.

I work with fresh materials and premium products, and check beforehand whether a treatment suits your skin.
Honest advice
I also tell you what is not possible, for example that grey or white hair cannot be treated with laser. So you know exactly what to expect.
