From empty space to my own studio

First Wax officially started on 1 January, but because of the lockdown the doors stayed closed. I made good use of that time. Step by step, the studio was renovated and furnished, so that you feel at ease here from the very first moment.

The moment it truly became mine

There is one moment I will never forget. The last plank was in place, the golden letters were on the wall, and I took a step back. There it was: First Wax. For years I had dreamed of my own business, and now I saw that dream on my own wall.

I deliberately chose old wood for that wall. I did not want a sleek, cool salon, but a place with warmth and character, where you can relax for a moment. Waxing, and certainly a Brazilian wax, is something personal. I want you to feel at ease here from the very first moment, as if you are stepping into someone’s home.

And the wood has something else beautiful about it: no two planks are the same. That suits the way I work. Every body and every skin is different. That is why you do not get a standard treatment from me, but personal attention and the result that suits you.

Whether it is your first time or not: I take my time for you, explain everything calmly and make sure you get the best result. I want you to leave the studio feeling smooth and more confident.
